"I can't help but feel sad seeing this monumental part of Miami's history being gouged out piece by piece. There's no denying that this building via its association with the media empire that WAS The Miami Herald is tied to Miami's history like a child to its mother. Whatever one might think of the architectural merits of this building, its sheer scale, presence and longevity justified finding another use for it. I know that its successor(s) won't even reach knee-high to it in historical importance and I know history will bear me out. Miami, we lost a part of our collective soul just like New York City did with the late Pennsylvania Station. May the gods of folly not laugh in our faces!"-anon. [BANG! CRASH!
