"Two cemeteries to add to your list: Charlotte Jane Memorial Park Cemetery, the final resting place of the earliest Black settlers in South Florida; the Coconut Grove Cemetery Association, comprised of Miami s early prominent African American citizens, formally organized this burial place in 1913 in the Charles Ave district. Also, Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Established in 1924, it houses 538 tightly packed, above ground burial plots on a land area of 4,202 square feet. A beautiful restored coral rock archway graces the NW 46th Street entrance."-anon. [Mapping The Few Historic/Cool Cemeteries Of South Florida]
