$8 million dollars later, the Nakash family-owned Hotel Victor on Ocean Drive has reopened after a top-to-bottom renovation by designers Yabu Pushelberg, giving the place a much lighter, earth-tone-ier vibe than the circus funhouse look it previously had. According to the P.R. lackeys, Yabu was going for a "beach house" aesthetic, which explains all the light beige. However, the historic hotel's art deco details also seem to come through quite beautifully, at least in the pictures. What isn't so obvious is how the Victor will aesthetically work with its new wing, the flamboyantly decorated Versace Mansion.
