On The Eve Of Art Deco Weekend 2014, Take A Moment To Appreciate Fabulous Art Deco

New, 4 comments

Art Deco Weekend, the annual commemoration of Art Deco architecture, is upon us yet again. Although midcentury modern architecture, Miami's variation of which has come to be called MiMo (short for Miami Modernism, not midcentury modernism) tends to be more in the limelight these days, Art Deco is still that flamboyant, dramatic, exuberant, wonderful architectural style that has made South Beach famous the world over. So, let's take a moment to celebrate art deco in all its show stopping glory. Here now, a gallery of Art Deco from around South Beach by Curbed Miami photographer Silvia Ros.
