Nobu Likely Doing Hotel-Within-A-Hotel At The Eden Roc

According to all knowing wise one Lesley Abravanel's very reliable sources, restaurant Nobu will be decamping its digs at the Shore Club and moving into "one of the last vestiges of the old school", Morris Lapidus' Eden Roc. No, it likely won't be an 'Eden Nobu' or some other unfortunate bastardization of the glorious queen that is the Eden Roc, but more likely a hotel-within-a-hotel concept says Lesley (we followed up with her to verify), with Nobu taking over the hotel's food & beverage operations as well as rebranding the hotel's recently constructed south tower, in late 2014. The hotel consists of two towers, the historically protected main tower, and the new south one. We're eagerly awaiting more information, but until then it's fairly safe to say that the hotel's historical structure will, most likely, remain sacrosanct.
