UM's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science has a big new hurricane simulation tank that might be able to figure out what happens to hurricanes when they interact with the ocean below them, creating a frothy air/sea mixture that's not very well understood but makes a big impact on what exactly those megastorms do.
