ArtCenter South Florida's artists studios building at 800 Lincoln Road, has been sold to commercial developer South Beach TriStar for $88 million and will (inevitably) very soon be converted back into the historic building's original use: prime retail space. Built in 1938, it was a Burdine's Department Store. Historically apt perhaps, the loss of bohemian Lincoln is still a little sad. [Miami Herald]
