Kaskades Suites at Gale South Beach Are Almost at Showtime

Menin Hospitality has a holiday gift for you: on December 1, the Kaskades Suites at Gale South Beach will open.

This extension project to the Gale South Beach will open 25 suites, to complement the nearby 89-room Gale hotel.

Apparently, this nouveau Gale will feature meeting rooms and bigger rooms than its predecessor, which is something that repeat guests had asked for. Larger closet space, living rooms for entertainment purposes, private balconies, and large bathrooms complete the plan for the space. Oh, and if you're lucky enough to stay in a suite, then you will have Japanese soak tubs on the balconies. Why? Because, according to Jared Galbut, managing principal of Menin Hospitality, "tubs are making a comeback."

Plantation-based general contractor GT McDonald Enterprises and Urban Robot Associates led the multimillion-dollar restoration and renovation of the building.

SFBJ also reports that two levels were added to the historic structure to create the event space, a 3,400-square-foot rooftop terrace and pool area.

So come by and see it sometime. Because Menin is set for a series of surprises. Here are the spoilers of what they're planning next: a Pan-Asian restaurant concept, Red Ginger, at 800 1st Street opening January 2015; and renovations to its Bentley South Beach hotel at 510 Ocean Drive.
