Addison Mizner's "Bella Costa" in Palm Beach is $8.95M

New, 2 comments

$8.95 million will get you this classic Mediterranean Revival mansion by the original master architect of Palm Beach, Addison Mizner. Built undoubtedly for one of his old money society connections (a quick google search reveals it to have been the home of a one Ms. Elizabeth Hope Gammell Slater, and built in 1920, making it one of the Miz's early Palm beach houses) Bella Costa retains many of Mizner's signature touch's, including the pink exterior, large ballroom, wood beam ceilings, stone stair hall, ancient fireplace mantles, and most of all his eclectic eye for beauty. All the more incredible, this entire composition was saved from the wrecking ball by its current owners, who moved Bella Costa to its current site.
