250 Wynwood, the first new residential tower in the heart of Wynwood since the beginning of the Great Recession has topped off ("less than 120 days since the start of construction" according to a press release, although it only has six stories, so...). Above two ground floor retail spaces, the project has eleven huge loft-style residential units, basically because it conforms to Wynwood's pre-reform zoning rules that require apartments to be live/work, with at least half of the square footage allotted to 'work.' Completion is planned for early summer 2015.
