Preservationists are trying to save a mural by noted cubist painter Jack Stewart on the facade of the midcentury addition to the Versailles Hotel in Miami Beach. The building has already been approved for demolition, to be replaced by this, so preservationists hope to have it donated to a local museum or, preferably, moved to the Faena Forum, designed by Rem Koolhaas/OMA, a few blocks away. Maybe Rem will know what to do with it?
