The 1 Hotel & Homes, previously styled as the 1 Hotel & Residences, is debuting their sales center this weekend to coincide with the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. The project, the latest and perhaps most extensive overhaul to date of the constantly-being-overhauled building, is an attempt to remake a rambling concrete barn into an environmentally friendly luxury hotel and residences by the LeFrak organization and Starwood Hotels. Curbed was taken on a preview tour of the latest incarnation of one of the giants of South Beach. (few other complexes, save perhaps the Flamingo and maybe the Continuum are quite as large)
