Avra Jain, who is in the midst of revamping the MiMo Vagabond Motel, partnered with mixed-use specialty broker Tony Cho to buy a big warehouse in neighboring Little River just off the Florida East Coast Railway. The two plan to make "extensive capital improvements"—i.e., pump lots of cash into the 129,000-square-feet of space—to lure start-ups, small manufacturing and other creative types who don't mind the sound of a train coming by now and again.
