Middle River Trailer Park, Wilton Manors' last trailer park, and the location of the 1996 Demi Moore film 'Striptease', has sold to developers who plan to turn the site into cushy apartments called Metropolitan with an arts park and electric car charging stations. The trailer park has been grimy and gunky for decades. Even Demi's movie people wanted to slap a fresh coat of paint on the place. Now instead of faded geriatrics with only a social security check to get by, it'll be full of pretty people who drive hybrids and like to get their booty dancing on at The Manor and have little interest in seeing Demi sporting a thong.
