"In Pittsburgh most people cross a bridge from Downtown to go to Pirates games and PNC Park is considered one of the best parks in the country. I don't think getting people to walk that distance for a soccer game is much of a problem but, like you said, the bridge would probably need to be renovated to be made safe for a large crowd of pedestrians. It would also need to be closed to traffic before and after games which creates another set of problems. I still think that there are better locations for a stadium. The port adds a lot to the Miami economy and it seems like a bad place to put a commercial/entertainment center that won't be used every day."-anon [Beckham Reveals Arquitectonica-Designed Port Stadium]
