Classic Addison Mizner Oceanfront On The Market For $22M

New, 2 comments

Owned by the same, presumably old Palm Beach, family since it was designed for them by architect Addison Mizner himself in 1919, the oceanfront house Louwana is almost 100 years old and on the market for $22 million. That's, rather unfortunately, a PriceChop of $8 million since it first hit the market in 2008, but just look at what you're getting for the money, catty remarks from Curbed National aside: an oceanfront house with a grand architectural provenance, an 'Old World' Palm Beach pedigree, lots of original interiors, and enough floral patterns and porcelain knickknacks to choke a goat.

UPDATE: Louwana was owned by none other than dearly departed "high society maven Aimee de Hereen" according to the Real Estalker.
