Ugo Colombo has finally raised the curtain on what exactly he plans to do with the Brickell Flatiron site, which he purchased late last year. Surprise, surprise, it's a condo tower. The new Brickell Flatiron tower (a name which Colombo had the good sense to stick with) will be positioned to the north of the Metromover tracks and the current 'Flatiron Park'. The Luis Revuelta design is quite large, containing a whopping 500+ units, but it's also quite tall at 750 feet or 65 floors, filling out its slim wedge-shaped site with swooping scalloped balconies on the front facade and sleek ocean-liner lines. It will have pools on both a lower amenity deck and a rooftop, as well as double-height penthouses, and retail and restaurants.
