Museum Park Finally Opens Tomorrow

New, 3 comments

"It's finally here and it's not going away after all" says Andres Viglucci about Museum Park, which kind of sums it all up. Sometime tonight barricades blocking the park from the street will be removed and it will officially be open for business, or play, or games of kickball, or kids rolling in the grass, or picnics, or lovers canoodling in the bushes, or walks along the bay, or hell, even impromptu soccer games. There will be way more soccer games in the park now than there ever would have been in that damn soccer stadium. And that's the way it should be. Oh, and a big Coast Guard sailing ship called the Eagle is sailing in tomorrow to inaugurate the park, and will be open for tours.
