A reader writes in to show off their historic Alfred Browning Parker-designed house in Coconut Grove from 1953, replete with original touches, which they now use as a vacation rental. The three-bedroom house comes with lots of original furnishings including George Nelson armchairs and a daybed, and extensive cypress wood interiors, for $300/night. Surrounded by thick foliage, it sits over a tunnel driveway that dips below the house and give access through a lower level front door. The living areas of the house are in the upper floor, suspended over the driveway, and surrounded by a large deck.
