The Angler's Hotel on Washington Avenue in South Beach is about to triple in size, with a new wing on an adjacent parking lot that will hold twice the number of hotel rooms of the current building cluster of buildings (which only contain 45) reports exMiami. The design, by Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates, is for one large building to contain the rooms, with balconies arrayed along the front, a rooftop pool deck, and what appears to be street level retail in the renderings. Totally different from the current Angler's super-intimate feel, but hey, variety is the spice of life, right?
