Before the hurricane of 1935, when the rich and famous staying at Henry Flagler's Florida resorts wanted to really experience the great outdoors they came to Flagler's Long Key Fishing Camp, halfway down the Florida Keys. Back then, the Keys were so remote, with fresh water in such short supply, that the resort only had two freshwater bathtubs: one for men, and one for women, and you had to make reservations to use them.
