The latest plan to revamp Ocean Drive in an aim to improve the pedestrian experience would take 'only' two feet from Lummus Park, a foot from each lane of traffic, preserve the parallel parking, widen the western sidewalk to 21.5 feet (limiting outdoor tables to the first ten feet), and shrinking the eastern one. In a way it's a substantial change to the way Ocean Drive operates, and in a way... it isn't. [Miami Today; Previous Ocean Drive coverage]
