Zoo Miami's Dino-land Just Went Extinct

New, 1 comment

A small part of the much, much larger (possibly) pine rocklands-threatening Zoo Miami Entertainment Area plan is no longer happening. While 20th Century Fox is still doing their $1 billion Miami Wilds thing, another company, Dinosaur Park Miami Corp., wasn't able to find a suitable spot near the zoo for their $14.3 million mini-park of life sized dinosaur reconstructions, and has thus pulled out of the project altogether... which is kind of sad because a park full of life sized dinosaurs sounds like it's destined to become a classic bit of Florida kitsch.
