Construction at the Crimson Reaches the Sixth Floor

Construction on the mckafka Group's Crimson, that shorter sibling of its neighbor-next-door Icon Bay, has reached its sixth floor, and is going strong. Curbed Miami once called the condo tower a "mashup between an art school, a bomb shelter, and a hospital ICU" which, so we've heard at least, compelled the developers to give the building a glassier facade. Renderings over on the Crimson's Facebook page seem to corroborate this. As with the Related Group's Icon Bay, the Crimson's developers are also doing a few things to beef up the infrastructure around the building, like linking it to Icon Bay with a bay walk, widening 27th street by 9 feet, and adding alleyways.
