Last week the Miami Beach Leadership Academy Alumni Association posted what appear to be fuzzy photos taken by someone's phone of presentation boards of a swoopy, low, glass covered building with the note "Preliminary facade of the MBCC by Fentress Architects". Bearing in mind that the source is not some random unknown entity, that Fentress outsourced the exterior styling of the Miami Beach Convention Center to ubiquitous local shop Arquitectonica (who also were the designers of the center's last redo), and that this concept totally looks like an Arquitectonica design, well... this is pretty believable. If anybody has more info or (ideally) can send over the actual PDF from whence these two images came, please send it over.
