The Haddon Hall, which is currently getting a big redo from architects ADD Inc., will reopen as 'The Hall' under Commune Hotel's 'Joie de Vivre' brand, according to the Miami Herald. 164 room hotel will also incorporate an adjacent apartment complex and include a restaurant, bar, library, pool, and beer garden. Commune is the the same company that opened the Thompson last month and, whaddaya know, is owned by the wealthy Pritzker family, of Pritzker Architecture Prize fame. They also own Hyatt. So, does this mean ADD Inc. is in the running for a Pritzker? Sorry, but no. The hotel, which promises to be really quite beautiful, opens this summer.
