WeWork has signed on to get a 96,575 s.f. lease that takes over the whole Security Building downtown. While WeWork's business model is embraced as an innovative option for companies who just want to lease partial space for their growing companies, the building itself is a part of history.
Built in 1926, the 16-story building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
WeWork has a second location on Lincoln Road.
Metro1 brought the deal together, having also brokered the $23.5M sale of the building last June.
