Mana's New Beautiful Center, Built Especially for, Well, Beauty

Miami is full of beautiful people. And thanks to Moishe Mana and Luxury Brand Partners, Wynwood is going to get one more beautiful building to encourage more beautiful people.

Now that Wynwood has been rezoned, this new plan has a taller property than its previous brethren of buildings. A 244,000 s.f. nine-story hub for hair stylists, makeup artists, designers, and other beauty industry professionals will accompany an 84-room hotel, office space, showrooms, bars, and a restaurant.

According to the SFBJ, the building had a slightly marred history. Mana bought the property, which was once planned as a free trade zone, out of bankruptcy in 2010.

The rendering shows a building covered in cross-hatched patterns of pastels, not unlike a makeup brush that has been deftly swiped by an artist that will be working in the building itself.

Construction is expected to begin in January. Coincidentally, one of the most beautiful months of the year. The Urban Development Review Board will review the beauty center later this month, which is being designed by Berenblum Busch Architecture.

What's next? Mana, who owns more than 30 acres in Wynwood, also has plans for a Asian-Latin American Trade Center and Mana Museum/Contemporary Art Center on his Wynwood property. All in the name of exponentially increasing the pretty.
