If you're going to be stuck in traffic in South Florida there's no better route than traveling west on the MacArthur Causeway, where a glance to your right lives three impeccable islands providing the foundation for one amazing house after another.

Let's take a tour of the most expensive home listed on Star, Palm, and Hibiscus Island.

428 S Hibiscus

Listed in July for $30 million, this contemporary seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom home is a bit of a mystery with an expected completion date around Fall 2016.

30 Palm Ave

This modern eight-bedroom, nine-bathroom fully automated smart home was listed for $32 million over the summer. It includes a home theater with a 132-inch screen.

1 Star Island

Our last and certainly not least house featured on this list is "Nina's Villa," owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan. Listed for $40 million, it's not only the priciest home for sale on the three islands but also all of Miami Beach.
