To no resident's surprise, Miami is officially the home to three of America's worst traffic bottlenecks, according to a Top 50 list compiled by Highways.org.
Only 19 chunks of road in the country fared worse than the 1.7-mile stretch of expressway on the Palmetto between 41st St and the Dolphin expressway (836).

Ranked 32nd is a half-mile stretch on the Dolphin expressway between 72nd ave and the Palmetto, followed by -- you guessed it -- another patch on the 836 between 17th and 22nd ave, which came in 39th.
Lesson: Avoid the Palmetto and Dolphin expressways during rush hour if at all feasible.
