It appears Miami-based rapper Lil Wayne is getting antsy with the sale of his 15,000 square foot mansion in South Beach. After listing the nine-bedroom, 10-bathroom drama-filled colossus for $18 million in April it received a $2 million slash yesterday to its new listing price of $16 million.
The home was built in 2004 and purchased by Lil Wayne in 2011 for $11.6 million. Yes, this is the home where the rapper modified his mortgage in 2013 after IRS trouble and the same home targeted by SWAT after a hoax earlier this year. The plus of the latter was the over-the-top news coverage unveiled a custom skatepark on the roof.
