Things are getting weird over at Privé. Developers Gary Cohen and Dan Lebensohn were able to get the Third District Court of Appeals to vacate a restraining order restricting them from finishing the sidewalk through the neighboring Island Estates that would allow them to build their two luxury condo towers. In response, the homeowners of the lots whose houses the sidewalks will encroach upon attempted to block construction by "sitting in the mud, parking cars and laying on top of them". Homeowners David and Dara Clarke were arrested after ramming the newly poured sidewalk with their Porsche. We have one guess who called the police. [Real Deal Miami; Prive coverage]
