Genting, the Malaysian casino conglomerate that had proposed to build the world's largest casino, known as Resorts World Miami, on the site of the old Miami Herald Building, seems to have something cooking in regards to the stalled project. A few weeks ago it was publicly revealed the company had hired on four new lobbyists to push for legalized gambling, and now, according to The Next Miami, a 'county' source has disclosed that Bernardo Fort-Brescia, the lead architect on the project (Arquitectonica has been the design firm all along) met with Dade officials yesterday about it. Something seems to be happening.
