"The concept is sound. No great city has ugly surface parking, and diagonal at that, at its very core. However, the execution as shown in the video is rather shockingly flawed. There is far too much hardscape and not nearly enough shade trees. There are no bike lane. And most importantly there is no perceivable design scheme, just an uninspired hodgepodge of generic fountains, play equipment, sculptural elements, human size chess pieces (!) , and blatant copies (!) of Singapore's metal trees. The original graphics of a green shade tree lined boulevard were far superior to this laugable parade of cheesy design gimmicks.
