Before Biscayne Boulevard became known for prostitutes and all that in the 80s, it was the home of Miami's Playboy Club, on 77th Street and Biscayne Boulevard. That's not to say, of course, that one had anything to do with the other. As antifeminist as the whole idea may have been, Bunnies were not those sorts of girls. Au contraire, an article about the Miami Club in the 1960s, photos of which the305 found may have been the last place anywhere ever that the word 'comely' was used to mean 'sexy.' The Playboy Club in Miami flourished for a while, but eventually shut down, its empty and derelict building still being a local landmark until it was demolished and replaced by an auto parts store.
