Well folks, it's been years, and finally Tri-Rail will be coming to the 'Miami Central Station' portion of the Miami Intermodal Center "in the coming weeks" tweets Tri-Rail, marking the completion of the transit hub. This will give Tri-Rail users direct access to Miami International Airport and Metrorail's Orange Line. Tri-Rail has been testing its trains at the MIC, one of which was spotted by Curbed reader Phillip Pessar, who snapped a few pics of the trains. Now, hopefully, if everything goes right, Tri-Rail will be gliding in to All Aboard Florida's MiamiCentral too, sometime in the not-too-distant future.
On that note, uh, oh, two train stations have the exact same name: Miami Central. Oops!
Tri-Rail will resume its connection to @iflymia w/ the completion of the Miami Intermodal Center in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for details
