'Classical Transitional' House in The Moorings Wants $6.2M

Built in 1930 this house in the Moorings, that hidden hamlet in Coconut Grove, ranks with the best of them. Listed for $6.2 million, the brokerbabble says the style is 'classical transitional', which must be some sort of classical on its way to modernism. It has classical proportions, some nice classical detailing, wooden floors, lots of built-ins, an arched entry, some fabulous stone bathrooms (although one does wonder what the original bathrooms looked like), and one of those lush, jungly Coconut Grove backyards.
