Tommy Hilfiger is Building a Party Pavilion at the Raleigh

Via Touzet Studio

The City of Miami Beach approved Tommy Hilfiger's plans to restore and upgrade South Beach's super-duper iconic Raleigh Hotel last week. The highlight of his plans, which are being designed by Touzet Studio, is a new structure behind the pool which is designed to reflect the historic cabana colony that is now gone while adding a whole host of new amenities. Consisting of two two-story blocks connected by an open breezeway as well as a full basement, much of the Raleigh's new private club will be contained in this addition.

On the first floor, a cafe on the north side with indoor and outdoor seating is balanced by a large gym on the south side. Both will face the ocean as well as a new pool. In the basement, the locker rooms for the gym will flank a recording studio, screening room, and nightclub/lounge, much like the Delano's FDR. Upstairs, another lounge for the private club on the north side will be flanked with guest rooms on the south, and the third floor will consist solely of a roof deck on the north side.
