Walmart is planning to build a 123,000 square foot SuperCenter as part of a 335,000 square foot shopping center on Rockland Key, just a hop, skip, and a jump up the Overseas Highway from Key West. (h/t: The Next Miami) Neighbors are, of course, concerned about traffic and affordable housing for the store's employees because, well, gridlock is not a thing that happens in the sleepy Florida Keys (or at least it's not a thing that should happen there) and housing is already hella expensive.
