Coconut Grove is one of South Florida's best loved neighborhoods, but CocoWalk, that odd mall at the center of the Coconut Grove whirl, has stagnated since its early successes after opening in 1990. The somewhat generic mall, with its Cheesecake Factory and new high-end movie theater was purchased for $87.5 million by a group of investors who, Curbed Miami hears, are taking an "everything's on the table" approach to ideas for reinventing the beleaguered retail beast.
So, dear readers, how do you think CocoWalk could improve and open up to Coconut Grove? Leave your responses in the comments.
