Oh man, oh man, this would have been perfect during Renters Week. Ocean Drive's Versace Mansion, the former home of fashion designer Gianni Versace which was the location of his murder and has been maintained very much like it was in his day, is for rent. The Real Deal, which originally reported the story, did not know how much the rent might be. The owners, the Nakash family of Jordache Jeans fame, have been operating it as a boutique hotel since purchasing it for $41.5 million less than two years ago and promise that however the eventual tenant uses the house, which Versace called Casa Casuarina, "we bought history... it's going to stay as it is." And no it's not for sale.
