Aloft South Beach to Open This Thursday, Not Last Week

The Aloft South Beach is opening this Thursday on its ultra-unique Collins Avenue/Lake Pancoast site according to HotelChatter, even though they just sent Curbed a press release yesterday that said the hotel opened on the 4th. That would have been last week. Calling the hotel and hearing an old recorded message saying the hotel is "opening in April" and then being invited to leave a message after the beep" shows that it did not. "People seem to think it will really open this time, so we'll see." says HotelChatter. Have a look at renderings of what the hotel will (already does?) look like after the jump. Yes, they really did put windows that small in the guest rooms of a brand new Miami Beach hotel.
