Say goodbye to Britto's "pop art" covered entrance ramps at Sun Life Stadium, "Pop art" being in air quotes because that's what a lot of Miamians do whenever the word 'art' is used in reference to Romero Britto's oeuvre. Miami Dolphins CEO Tom Garfinkel tweeted out a photo of workers painting it over as part of the stadium's big revamp. As the New Times says: "Britto's work still remains on display to the public in several places throughout Miami-Dade. He's a favorite of developers who want to add some visual knick-knacks to their property, but perhaps this is a sign that his work is finally going out of fashion."
