That mostly empty, grassy plot of land at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way neighboring the Epic Hotel in Downtown Miami will house a new luxury condo tower that will break ground next fall, according to Next Miami. Sold for $125 million in July 2014 to the Coto family (Coto Supermarkets in Argentina), the 1.25-acre parcel was once the site of the proposed 609-foot Epic East in 2004.

The luxury tower should have some amazing views of the Miami river to the south and Biscayne Bay to the east. The location is ideal, with Brickell, I-95 access, Whole Foods and Bayfront Park all an earshot away.

The project is listed as "300 Biscayne Blvd," with developers desiring an on-site sales center with a temporary river walk, with the former to be demolished in December 2018 when the tower is expected to be completed. Epic's architect, Luis Revuelta, is set to work on the project with Bodas Miani Anger.
