The Pointe is a new "lifestyle and residential development" coming to Nassau, The Bahamas. Stantec will be designing the $250 million project that will have 110 condos and 200 hotel rooms, stretching over 900,000 square feet. Amenities will include shopping and restaurants, as well as a performing arts center, high-end movie theatre, and bowling alley. It will be located in Downtown Nassau near the cruise ship port and is slated to open in 2017 after breaking ground in August

"We are thrilled that our first endeavor in the Caribbean is with The Pointe, the six-acre development that is destined to be a landmark in downtown Nassau, providing the area with much needed services and amenities," said architect Jon Cardello, senior principal, Stantec in a press releaase. "We look forward to continuing to expand Stantec's luxury residential portfolio outside of the US."
