Harvey Hernandez, president and CEO of Newgard Development Group, is planning to build a waterfront contemporary on Miami Beach, notes the Next Miami.
The proposal calls for a two-level home replacing an architecturally significant pre-1942 home on a waterfront lot at 790 Lakeview Drive.
There will be five bedrooms plus staff quarters spread over 9,404 square feet of interior space. An interior koi pond is planned, with a meditation garden and gym on the second floor. Outside, there will be an infinity edge swimming pool, hot tub, lap pool, cabana and barbecue area.
The home is down the street from the home recently purchased by Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside.
The architect of the new build is Domo Architecture + Design, the same firm behind Stuart Miller’s dynamic modern home coming to Star Island.
