Congrats, Florida: You dropped to No. 2 in ‘Careless Driving’

Impressive!

It’s time to whip out the pots and pans because Florida is no longer the country’s king for ‘Careless Driving’—only the second worst.

In a 2016 study analyzing the worst drivers according to state, Car Insurance Comparison found Florida to rank 32nd overall. The most surprising finding was we ranked dead last in speeding. I guess it actually makes some sense when you consider Floridians are among the oldest people in the country.

Now if South Florida was its own state, it’s safe to assume we’d fare much worse.

The five worst driving states:

1. Louisiana (tied)

1. Texas (tied)

3. South Carolina

4. North Dakota

5. Delaware
