Tour ‘the Arc’ in Golden Beach, which sold for $5.5M

A dry estate in Golden Beach with a unique name and an even more distinct appearance just sold for 5.5 million, per the Real Deal.

A South American buyer just paid $5.5 million for a Golden Beach spec mansion known as “the Ark,” marking the ritzy oceanfront town’s highest price for a non-waterfront home.

Listing agent Chad Carroll of Douglas Elliman told The Real Deal that a South American — whom he declined to name — closed on the 8,350-square-foot mansion at 480 Ocean Boulevard on Friday. The sale works out to just below $659 per square foot.

“The Ark” has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and features a 20-foot glass atrium with an exotic shape. The remarkable residence also includes a saltwater pool, hot tub, home theater, rooftop deck, custom Italian kitchen, and smart home technology.
