Round 1 of South Florida’s Curbed Cup is complete and shockingly there was not one upset in the opening round of this year’s tournament, with the top eight seeds all inching closer towards being named 2016’s Neighborhood of the Year.
Our most lopsided matchup was (3) Wynwood/Midtown gliding past (14) Aventura after capturing over 88 percent of the vote. Our closest battle featured (8) Surfside slipping past (9) Sunny Isles by an 18 percent margin.
The most intriguing matchup of Round 2, which begins Monday, looks to be No. 3 Wynwood/Midtown taking on No. 6 Downtown Miami. Check out the updated bracket and be sure to cast your votes as the Curbed Cup advances.
