In distinguishing the level of caring executed across America’s 100 largest cities, WalletHub has concluded Miami is among the least compassionate areas in the nation, coming in at 93rd.

Hialeah fared a hair better at 92nd, while the country was paced by Madison, Lincoln, and Virginia Beach. San Bernardino ranked last.

Among the 32 “key indicators” of compassion were percentage of sheltered homeless persons, volunteering hours per capita, charity donations, and violent crime rate.
